Program Description:
Guest speakers from Saint Francis Health System will discuss the organization’s approach to safety in the healthcare setting and human trafficking. Reflecting on actual experiences, industry trends and the current environment, attendees will learn about the various challenges healthcare systems are required to work through in order to keep patients, families and employees safe across multiple care settings. Speakers will also share what Saint Francis Health System is developing to identify, care for and assist victims of human trafficking that come to Saint Francis for their care and treatment.
Objectives:
- Overview of workplace safety considerations and challenges healthcare providers face in the current environment.
- The balance between maintaining access to quality care for disruptive patients while protecting the workforce.
- Saint Francis' approach to identifying and caring for victims of human trafficking in eastern Oklahoma.
About the Speakers:
Collin grew up in Texas and attended Texas Tech University where he graduated with honors earning his bachelor’s degree in business administration and economics in 2010. He later obtained a law degree from St. Mary’s University School of Law as a distinguished graduate with honors and remains in good standing with the Texas bar today. After three years of practicing law, Collin and his wife, Maxie, transitioned to Tulsa, Oklahoma, where he began working with Warren Clinic and Saint Francis Health System in 2015.
Saint Francis Health System is a $2.3B not-for-profit health system comprised of five hospitals, including a 1,000 bed tertiary care center, 168 bed heart hospital and children’s hospital with over 10,500 employees.
Over the last six years, Collin has held various leadership roles within the Warren Clinic and Saint Francis Health System. Collin currently serves as a senior vice president at Saint Francis Health System and as President of the Warren Clinic, Collin is responsible for the overall strategic direction and footprint of the physician enterprise, consisting of 700 providers across more than 100 locations throughout eastern Oklahoma.
In addition to leading the physician enterprise for Saint Francis Health system, Collin sits on the board of directors of Community Care, a jointly-owned provider-sponsored health plan. He is also a board member of Xavier Insurance Company, a captive insurance company for Saint Francis Health System.
Collin is a member of the American Health Law Association, American Academy of Provider Compensation Professionals and the American Academy of Healthcare Executives.

Mike Lissau is Senior Vice President and General Counsel for Saint Francis Health System, a position hehas held since 2018. In this role, he oversees litigation, transactions, human resources, corporate compliance, risk management and safety.
He says the most rewarding part of the job is taking care of so many people, from ensuring that the more than 11,000 employees are supported with physical and mental health services to reducing risks for all employees and patients.
In addition to his regular duties, Mike’s team recently launched a program to help victims of human
trafficking. While 88% of victims of human trafficking seek medical attention, most healthcare providers
have not been trained to recognize the signs nor do they have the resources to help.
A graduate of the University of Tulsa College of Law and a former shareholder with Hall Estill, he says
ethics play a role in every decision his teams make, as each must align with the Saint Francis mission and values.
In the community, Mike serves on the Bishop Kelley governance committee and on the board of Veritas, which grants scholarships to local students to attend Catholic schools.
