    About the Speaker:

    David has been serving in the customer service industry for over 20 years and is currently the Owner of the Chick-fil-A at Southroads Shopping Center and plans to open his 2nd franchised Chick-fil-A in Midtown Tulsa in 2024. He obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Georgia Tech before spending 2 years as a missionary in East Asia. Upon his return to the United States, he completed a Master’s degree in Cross Cultural Leadership from Southwestern Seminary. He went on to serve 4 years in restaurant leadership at Starbucks Coffee Company before joining the Support Center of Chick-fil-A in Atlanta where he interviewed and selected Owner/Operators for the Southwest and West regions. After 5 years in corporate HR, David opened up his own Chick-fil-A franchise in Midtown Tulsa in 2015. Since opening, David and his team have won multiple internal sales awards and have become the highest volume Chick-fil-A in the state of Oklahoma and one of the top 100 restaurants in the chain. During their tenure at this location, they have invested in the lives of over 600 Team Members (average of 125 Team Members on staff at a time) and have donated over a $1.2 MM in in-kind donations to the local community. In 2021, his business was selected as Tulsa Most Diverse Business Champion and they have won and been nominated for multiple other awards including Oklahoma’s Most Caring Company, Most Kid Friendly Restaurant, and Small Business of the Year. David is a graduate of Leadership Tulsa Class 56, sits on the Board of Directors for Junior Achievement of Oklahoma, and was selected as a 40 under 40 leader in Oklahoma Magazine in 2020. David is married to his beautiful wife, Lynn, for 16 years and they have 2 daughters in Jenks schools.
